COVID-19 Protocols

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented the required safety protocols, advised by Manitoba Health, the Manitoba Dental Association, and our office, to keep everyone safe.

Before your next visit, we wanted to highlight some of the changes we have made to further protect your health.

 

Booking an appointment

  • New Patients: Fill out our Contact Form and select “New Patient Inquiry” as your reason for contact, or call our office at (204) 663-5000 to schedule your first appointment.
  • Existing Patients: Fill out our Contact Form and select “Book Appointment” as your reason for contact, or call our office at (204) 663-5000 to schedule an appointment.

Prior to your appointment

  • You are required to confirm your appointment a minimum of 48-hours prior via email, hello@kilconadental.ca, or by calling our office at (204) 663-5000.

During your appointment

  • Arrive at your appointment on time. Please do not arrive late, or more than 10 minutes before your appointment, as we have designed our schedule to maximize social distancing.
  • Everyone who enters our office is required to wear a mask.
  • You must sanitize your hands upon entering the office.
  • You may enter the office once you have answered “NO” to all of the COVID-19 screening questions posted on the entrance door.
  • Once you enter the treatment area, you will be required to do a pre-procedural rinse.
  • NOTE: Only the patient is allowed in the treatment area to ensure social distancing requirements are met (one family member may accompany the patient at the discretion of our staff).

Extra precautions

  • We have upgraded staff protective gear, including appropriate protective equipment (PPE).
  • We have redesigned our office space and created new staffing scheduling practices to ensure social distancing. We have also installed Plexiglas barriers in areas where social distancing can be challenging.
  • Sanitizing stations are located throughout the office.
  • We have removed all non-essential items from our countertops and waiting room, such as books, magazines, toys, etc.
  • We are asking that all patients pay via debit card or credit card. We have not made any changes to our direct billing process.
