Meet The Team

Dr. Debola Sonoiki, DMD

DENTIST

Dr. Adebola Sonoiki graduated from the Gerald Niznick Faculty of Dentistry, University of Manitoba in 2016, obtaining a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. She also holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, which she obtained in 2007.

Dr. Sonoiki is a dedicated dental professional with a passion for health and general wellness. She currently owns and serves as the principal dentist at Kilcona Dental Centre, where she is committed to providing outstanding, friendly service to her patients.

In addition, Dr. Sonoiki mentors dental students at the University of Manitoba through the Manitoba Dental Association. She is also actively involved in various organizations, serving as a committee member at the Manitoba Dental Foundation, a board member at a K-12 independent school, and a volunteer at her local church as well as a faith-based international NGO.

Outside of work, Dr. Sonoiki enjoys reading and writing blog posts. Her hobbies include cycling, swimming, and traveling to experience different cultures. She is happily married and has two children.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
Having the privilege to play a role in solving problems and educating.

Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?

Flashback to when you were ten years old. What do you want to be when you grow up?
A lawyer, I come from a family of lawyers- dad, brothers, uncles, cousins etc.

Dr Jessica Armah, B.S.C., D.D.S.

DENTIST

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Dr. Armah is proud to serve her hometown community.  She earned her dental degree from the University of Alberta and has a passion for  comprehensive den?stry. Always eager to learn, she loves taking con?nuing educa?on  courses to stay on top of the latest techniques and technologies in den?stry. 

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll probably find her binge-watching reality TV shows,  renovating a room at home, or planning her next travel adventure.

Dental Hygienist

Ramandeep was born in India (Punjab) and came to Canada in 2016.
She studied in Toronto and obtained her Dental Hygiene Diploma then
moved to Winnipeg in 2020. When she’s not working she’s always
striving to learn new things.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Where my family is.

What is your favourite outdoor activity?
Cycling and working in my lawn.

Karlie

Dental Hygienist

Karlie graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2024. She is working on growing her skills and helping patients achieve their optimal oral hygiene by prioritizing gentle and thorough care.

 

If I won the lottery tomorrow…
I would spend lots of time traveling the world, a few of my top picks are Italy, Greece, and Hawaii

What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
Spending time with friends and family, preferably outside on a hot sunny day.

Jade

Dental assistant

Jade is a Level III Dental Assistant who graduated from CDI College in 2023. In 2024, she completed her Orthodontic Module, earning the qualifications to assist in a wide range of dental procedures, including specialized orthodontic care. She is dedicated to delivering excellent patient support and plays a key role in ensuring efficient and compassionate dental services. In her spare time, you can find her working at her home beauty business as a Lash Technician or going on new adventures with her friends.

If you can go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I’d love to visit Hawaii! Love to try the food and see the culture and scenery!

Whats your favourite outdoor activity?

Hiking and paddle boarding in the summer and ice skating in the winter.

What is your favourite family tradition?
Going to Minneapolis for a big family reunion every couple of years!

Jennifer

Dental assistant

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?

The most inspiring part of my job as a dental assistant is seeing the positive impact we have on patients’ lives. Helping them overcome dental anxiety, achieve healthier smiles, and regain their confidence is incredibly rewarding.

Making breakfast with my husband and enjoying quality time with my daughters.

What is your favorite family tradition?

Sitting together for family talks and ending the day with a prayer

Roxanne

Office Manager

Roxanne was born in Winnipeg and moved to Waterloo for university, where she studied Psychology and Biology. Roxanne has spent the last 10 years in Hamilton Ontario and recently moved back to Winnipeg. In her spare time she enjoys taking long hikes with her husband and german shepard/husky, as well as spending time with her nieces and nephews.

What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
Hiking with my husband and dog.

What is the best concert you ever attended?
I can’t choose between Dauphin’s Country Fest, Warped Tour, and Taylor Swift.

What is your favorite family tradition?  I have a very large extended family, which makes getting everyone together for Christmas a challenge. Instead, we host Christmas in July, which is a weekend camping together, and yes, Santa visits the kids.
